Common questions

Do you connect to my bank? No. SubWise never links to your bank or card. You add subscriptions yourself, or import them from a receipt or screenshot you choose.

Will I get reminded before I'm charged? Yes. SubWise schedules on-device reminders before each renewal and before a free trial converts, so you can cancel on your terms.

How do I restore a purchase? Open the paywall or Membership settings and tap Restore purchases. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID.

How do I cancel my subscription? Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → SubWise.

How do I delete my data? Use Delete account in the app to remove any synced data, or delete the app to remove local data. You can also email us to request deletion.

Privacy Policy

SubWise is built to be private by design. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Data stored on your device

Your subscriptions, trials, categories, reminders, and spending summaries are stored locally on your device by default. This information is not sent to us unless you turn on optional cross-device sync.

Account & optional sync

If you use Sign in with Apple and enable encrypted cross-device sync, an encrypted snapshot of your subscription data is stored so it can appear on your other devices. Authentication and this encrypted storage are provided by Supabase acting as our processor. We do not sell or share this data.

Receipt & screenshot import (opt-in)

If you choose to import a subscription from a receipt or screenshot, the image you select is sent to our server and to our AI provider (OpenAI) solely to extract the subscription details you review before saving. Images are processed for that purpose and are not used for advertising or sold. A copy is retained only if you explicitly opt in.

Purchases

Subscription purchases are handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, our subscription management provider, to validate entitlements. We receive purchase status, not your payment card details.

What we do not do

• We do not connect to your bank or access transaction data.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Your choices

• Use the app fully locally without an account.
• Turn cross-device sync on or off at any time.
• Export your data, or delete your account and data from within the app.
